This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google a record of the pages you view, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and browser information. Your IP address is anonymised before storage.
Nothing is collected until you say yes. Analytics is switched off by default. On your first visit a banner asks for your choice. If you decline, the Google Analytics script is never loaded at all — not loaded and blocked, simply never requested. If you accept, your choice is remembered in your browser so the banner stops appearing.
To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser settings; the banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, which blocks it on every site.
We use these numbers only to understand traffic in aggregate. We do not use analytics to identify individuals, and we have not enabled Google Signals, advertising features or cross-device tracking. Google acts as our data processor under the Google Business Data Responsibility terms.
There are no forms or accounts on this site. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard server request data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect the service, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. One further item may be stored in your browser: the record of your cookie choice above.
Payment is not processed here. Clicking a purchase button sends you to Hotmart, which sells and delivers this product as merchant of record. Your name, email, payment details, billing address and tax information are collected and held by Hotmart under their own terms, and we never see your card or payment data.
What reaches us from Hotmart is limited to the record of your purchase: your name, your email address and the transaction details. We use it only to deliver the product, answer support requests and handle refunds. Hotmart's own policy is at hotmart.com.
Messages sent to support@lightsoutfieldguide.com are received through our email provider and kept while needed to resolve your request and to meet legal record-keeping obligations. We do not add you to a mailing list because you contacted support.
Wherever you live, you may ask us to confirm what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or provide it in a portable form, and you may object to our processing it. Write to support@lightsoutfieldguide.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Brazil (LGPD). Lei nº 13.709/2018 gives you the rights above, plus the right to information about with whom your data has been shared and the right to withdraw consent.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR). Our lawful basis is performance of a contract for purchase data, and legitimate interest for support correspondence. You may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law, and we do not discriminate against anyone who exercises their rights.
Because purchase data is held by Hotmart, a request about your order may need to go to them directly; tell us and we will point you to the right place.
We operate from Brazil and our service providers operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside your country. Where that happens, it is covered by the contractual safeguards those providers maintain.
This product is sold to adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting existing customers will also be sent by email.
